Riley Run Stables is situated on 20 beautiful acres in Forest, Virginia; centrally located between the Lynchburg and Bedford communities.  We are within a 15 minute drive from Liberty University, Lynchburg College, and Randolph College.  Riley Run Stables is gently nestled adjacent to Serene Creek Estates, and offers affordable, convenient, and clean facilities that provide the peace of mind and comfort that both you and your horse deserve. Our motto ” Happy Horses Happy People”

The main barn was constructed by Barn Master in 2004 and has (2) hot & cold wash stalls with rubber brick flooring.  Each of the sixteen stalls is 12′ x 12′, featuring an Equine Comfort System by Promat.  The barn design offers high ceilings, an abundance of natural lighting, and superior ventilation.  The main barn also features a tack room, lockers, and additional stall front space for a supply trunk.

Riley Run Stables also features trail access via common land shared with the residents of Serene Creek Estates.  We do not mind sharing this wonderful resource with  our riders; all we ask is for a phone call informing us of your targeted date and time, as well as a signed release form and accompanying horse’s coggins upon arrival.  Presently there is no chrage for use of the trails, however we ask that you clean up after yourself, treat the land with respect, and understand that you are riding at your own risk.

We are well aware that most horse owners are subject to a demanding work, academic, or family schedule.  The quality time that you spend with your horse is treasured, however is sometimes limited to time restrictions.  We pride ourselves on the low-key atmosphere and peaceful environment that grounds offer to each boarder.  We encourage all boarders and guests to fully enjoy the time spent with their horse and friends, and minimize the burdens and stresses that are already a part of your daily life.
